The thick, durable and soft elk skin provides good grip and durability, for example when splitting trees.The elk skin used in these gloves is thicker than usual and therefore more durable.The leather has been treated fatter than usual, thanks to which it has excellent grip and a snappy feel. Finnish deerskin is an ecological and ethical material that is perfect for gloves.Regulating the elk population by hunting is necessary for the sake of keeping the population alive, traffic safety and agriculture and forestry, i.e. leather is obtained as a by-product.

In outdoor gloves, the fit of the gloves should be more relaxed. There are therefore three sizes to choose from. You can either choose your own size of gloves, in which case the gloves will fit snugly. We do not recommend rounding down to a smaller size. Alternatively, you can choose a larger size, so that in cold seasons you can wear mittens inside the gloves.
