It takes a lot of a good hunting outfit. The garment must be silent, while providing protection to the wearer in all conditions, and, on the other hand, it must also breathe well even in more intensive activities, to be comfortable. Sasta has over 50 years of experience in manufacturing and developing hunting clothing that perform in some of the harshest conditions to be found, the vast wilderness areas of Northeastern Finland. When you choose a Sasta hunting outfit, you can count on the performance and quality of the outfit, while remaining confident that each detail is well thought after. Our collection includes outfits made from both traditional materials such as Sarka wool, as well as, highly technical Gore-Tex items.

Wool, as a natural material, is well suited for hunting outfits. Wool is a breathable material with excellent thermal insulation properties. It regulates body temperature, making it well suited for both cold and warm weather. Wool absorbs and transfers moisture effectively, without ever feeling wet. Wool has natural water- and dirt-repelling properties, and it is easy to keep clean by airing, and it is very silent. A small amount of either polyester or polyamide has been added to the wool to provide strength, improving wear resistance, without compromising the natural performance of wool.

In tough conditions out in the wilderness, you can always rely on the performance of your Gore-Tex hunting outfit. Gore-Tex® materials are completely waterproof and windproof, but at the same time highly breathable. Gore-Tex® clothing are suitable for harsh weather and wilderness conditions, providing guaranteed waterproofness and good breathability – allowing you to enjoy the hunt, without worrying about what mother nature throws at you. Our range includes several fully waterproof Gore-Tex models, one of which is the Wolf outfit, a true classic, that has maintained its popularity for decades.

Gore-Tex® Infinium™ products offer maximum breathability and are completely windproof, enabling optimal performance even during more intensive activities - these outfits are suitable especially for active hunters. Our Infinium™ products include the Mehto WS jackets and trousers. 

You can choose your hunting outfit in single-colour or camouflage pattern. We offer Mossy Oak® Mountain Country™ and Mossy Oak Break-Up Country patterns. Mossy Oak® Mountain Country™ is the most diverse camo pattern in Sasta's history, working well both in the autumn forest and in rocky or snowy terrain. For example, you can choose our top-seller, Mehto Pro 2.0 suit, either in green or with a Mountain Country pattern.
