We strive to make timeless and durable, yet functional products, and many stay in our collection year after year. One of these true classics is our Katmai anorak, that is a great companion out in the wilderness, as well as in the city. Another favourite of ours are the durable Jero trousers, used by both hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

We keep actively improving our current line-up of products, while also developing new products into our collection. Many of our products have been awarded in the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards. The Kaarna trousers, made of light sarkawool and the women’s versatile Peski W jacket made of Ventile® are both SOA winners in the apparel category.

We have also designed a plus size collection for outdoor lovers that are stronger and larger built. We want everyone to have the possibility to enjoy the outdoors in functional high-quality clothing, with perfect fit. Plus sized jackets and trousers are available for both women and men in multiple colours. A highlight in our SS22 collection is the women’s Mella+ jacket, that was chosen as the Overall winner at the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards.

Warm wool, durable polycotton or weatherproof Ventile®

Our material choices are guided by functionality and durability. We also strive to be responsible and prefer recycled materials whenever it is possible.

Why should you choose wool? Sasta has decades of experience in manufacturing sarkawool products. Wool is a breathable material with excellent thermal insulation properties. It absorbs and transfers moisture effectively, without ever feeling wet. Wool has natural water- and dirt-repelling properties, and it is easy to keep clean by airing.

Or would you prefer versatile polycotton products? Sasta Q.33 fabric is made of recycled polyester and organic cotton. It is very durable despite its light weight. The fabric also protects against wind and even mosquitoes, while being highly breathable. Q.33 products are suitable for a multitude of activities, from hiking to hunting and other outdoor activities.

Could a breathable and weatherproof Ventile® product be your new favorite? Ventile® is made of 100% organic cotton, making it 100% natural. It is not coated or laminated - instead, the cotton fibres swell when wet, making the fabric tight and weatherproof. Thus, the fabric provides excellent protection against wind, rain, snow, and cold.
